Dear members of the GASCA,

Our webinar series on “The Ethics of Academic Cooperation in Contexts of Human Rights Violations” continues.The series is organized by the working group put in place by the last assembly of the GASCA on academic cooperation with Israeli academic institutions. The series of conversations is designed to foster constructive, informed, and respectful exchange within our scholarly community and to inform a future response to questions of academic cooperation in situations of war and human rights violations in Israel/Palestine and beyond.

The webinars will take place online. Participation in the webinar will be limited to current GASCA members. Please note that registration will be mandatory.

The first webinar discusses “Academic Freedom, Silencing, and Scholasticide” and took place on Friday, 28 November 2025.

The second webinar is on „Complicity, Conscience, and Academia in Conflict“ and will take place on 8 December at 5p.m..

GASCA members recieved a registration link.

Please click the link and complete the short registration form with your name and email address. The email address you enter should match the one you have on file with the DGSKA (i.e. the email address to which you are receiving this invitation).

After submitting the form, you will receive a confirmation email from Zoom containing your personal join link. To enter the meeting, please make sure to sign into your Zoom account using the same email address that you used during registration. Otherwise, you may not be able to join. Please note that your join link is unique to you and cannot be shared with others.
